Day 1Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda) Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda) You'll have an early morning pickup from your hotel or Kigali International Airport by your safari guide. You'll begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. You'll stop at the Rwanda-Uganda border to complete immigration formalities Mid-morning: En Route to Bwindi You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Virunga Mountains and rural landscapes. You'll stop for breakfast in Kabale or Kisoro (Uganda’s "Switzerland of Africa"). Afternoon: Arrival in Bwindi You'll arrive at your lodge near Buhoma or Ruhija sector (depending on gorilla permits). You'll check in, have lunch, and relax at the lodge. Optional activities: Community walk (visit the Batwa Pygmies, traditional healers, or local schools). Nature walk near the lodge to spot birds and monkeys. Evening: Dinner and overnight stay. Gorilla Trekking & Return to Kigali
Day 2Gorilla Trekking & Return to Kigali Gorilla Trekking & Return to Kigali Early breakfast at the lodge. You'll transfer to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers. You'll begin gorilla trekking (duration varies depending on gorilla movement). You'll trek through dense forest with experienced trackers. Upon finding the gorillas, you'll spend 1 hour observing them (strict rules apply: 7-meter distance, no flash photography). Midday: You'll return to the lodge and depart for Kigali. You'll return to the lodge for lunch and check out. Begin the return journey to Kigali. Stop at the Uganda-Rwanda border for exit/entry procedures. Evening: Arrival in Kigali & Airport Transfer Arrive in Kigali. Optional: Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial (if time allows). Drop-off at Kigali International Airport for your onward flight.
