Day 1Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport and Transfer to Tarangire National Park Program of the day: Today, after breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, our driver guide will pick you up at 8:00am and transfer you to Zanzibar International for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha at 9:15am, our driver guide will meet you, briefly describe your upcoming safari, and then start the magical journey to Tarangire National Park. The first game drive is en route with a picnic lunch box. Once the game drive is done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and our overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds. It consists of diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. It is possible to see a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching over the grasslands from the trees above. Day 2Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha Program of the Day: After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro for a game drive inside the crater, carrying lunch boxes. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, making it one of Africa's natural wonders. It is home to around 30,000 large mammals that reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. Additionally, there are many varieties of birds, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see a wide range of animals during your visit. Once we finish the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha Airport for flight back to Zanzibar or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or to another destination.
