Day 1Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & Afternoon Boat Cruise Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & Afternoon Boat Cruise Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala at 7:00 am. He will also brief you about your 2-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours (about 300 km). You'll enjoy the scenic views of the Ugandan countryside. You'll make a brief stop in Masindi town for refreshments and lunch at a local restaurant or café. 1:00 PM: You'll arrive at Murchison Falls National Park. You'll head on an afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. This 2-3 hour cruise offers views of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. The boat takes you to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can witness the rush of water. 6:00 PM: If time permits, you'll embark on a short evening game drive in the northern sector of the park. Look out for lions, giraffes, antelopes, and more as they become active in the cooler evening hours. 7:30 PM: You'll check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2Morning Game Drive, Top of the Falls & Return to Entebbe Morning Game Drive, Top of the Falls & Return to Entebbe 6:30 AM: You'll start your day with an early morning game drive. This is the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas, as well as elephants, giraffes, and Uganda kobs. The morning light also makes for excellent photography opportunities. 9:30 AM: You'll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and check out. Mid-Morning: 10:30 AM: You'll drive to the top of Murchison Falls. Here, you’ll witness the Nile River squeezing through a narrow gorge and plunging 43 meters into the “Devil’s Cauldron.” The views are breathtaking, and the sound of the rushing water is unforgettable. Take time to explore and take photos. Afternoon: You'll begin your journey back to Kampala. You'll stop for lunch en route in Masindi or at a convenient spot along the way. 6:00 PM: You'll arrive in Kampala. On arrival in Kampala, your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel/a location of your choice.
