Safari starts from Zanzibar, drive to Serengeti National Park
Day 1Safari starts from Zanzibar, drive to Serengeti National Park Safari starts from Zanzibar, drive to Serengeti National Park Early morning flight from Zanzibar will take you to Central Serengeti. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti mid-morning you will be met by Msangai tour guide who will provide briefing of the tour and start the safari from there on. Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Over 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size. Today, most visitors come here with one aim alone - to witness millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and eland on a mass trek to quench their thirst for water and eat fresh grass. During this great cyclical movement, these ungulates move around the ecosystem in a seasonal pattern, defined by rainfall and grass nutrients. Lunch will be offered on the vehicle during the safari. By late afternoon, you will arrive at your designated lodge to rest, dine and cherish the great moments during the safari. Early morning game drive in Serengeti and drive back to Arusha in the afternoon
Day 3Early morning game drive in Serengeti and drive back to Arusha in the afternoon Early morning game drive in Serengeti and drive back to Arusha in the afternoon Although this will be the last day of your safari, there will still be a lot of game drives to experience. You will start the day immediately after breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti. After check-out from the lodge, you head straight into the game drive. The large herds of animals on the move can’t be witnessed anywhere else. Whereas other famous wildlife parks are fenced, the Serengeti is protected, but unfenced. This gives animals enough space to make their return journey, one that they’ve been doing for millions of years. Around midday, you stop and enjoy your lunch before you start your journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at airstrip by late morning to take flight back to Zanzibar. That's where your safari with Msangai will end.
